Price: All prices are subject to adjust depending on scope and depth of each project,; however, the base price for a standard recording session is $55 per hour. Mastering base price is $50 per song. In an unlikely extenuating circumstance that could possibly occur, there is a potential for a rate change. We will discuss and agree on any rate changes beforehand…there will never be any surprise charges.

 

KstrongStudios has the capability to record 32-audio tracks simultaneously using a StudiosLive mixer, powered by Apple Mac Pro. We record using Studio One v5 and the latest Apple Logic software, accessing various plug-ins to help target the sound the artist is striving towards. We can access the various plug-in through USB/MIDI connection ports on the electronic drums, Line6 amp, Bass Pod, MIDI keyboard, and various other methods. 

 

Because KstrongStudios understand operating on budget, we also operate using a variety of mid-grade mics for instruments and vocals. However, we can still produce a very satisfying sound that an artist will be able to use as a high-end demo recording. Lastly, KstrongStudios also does mixing and mastering production for artists that have previously recorded their projects elsewhere. We can help take your project to the next level.

 

KstrongStudios is happy to record utilizing a customers personal gear, and we will adjust floor space to accommodate your preferences, but we also can provide mid to high-end equipment to facilitate any desired result.

DRUMS: 9-piece birch Tama Swing-Star drum set with a mixture of Zildjian, Sabian and Paiste cymbals equipped with a Roland SPD-20 percussion pad and TD-10 trigger module; and a 6-piece Roland TD-50 electronic drum kit. 

GUITARS: Gibson Les Paul Custom; EVH Wolfgang Special; Fender Stratocaster; Fender Telecaster; Ibanez 540PCO; Taylor 714CE acoustic; 4-string Warwick Strummer STD bass; 4-string Fender Squire Precision bass, 4-string Tornado Custom bass; 6-string Melobar lap guitar.

AMPLIFIERS & PEDALS: Line-6 Bogner Tube amp w/ factory pedal; Peavey Transfer 212 amp w/ factory pedal (currently not working); Mark Bass Little Mark 250 Black Line bass amp w/ Bass Pod XT Live effects pedal

MICROPHONES: MXL-990 pressure gradient condensor mic; MXL-991 pressure gradient condensor mic; MXL R40 ribbon mic; Shure SM-57, SM-58 and PE-85L dynamic mics; Carvin D-42, D-44, PG-56, and CM-67; CM-90E microphones.
